Konor System

The Konor System is the northern forge and shipyard system of Ultramar, governed by a Tetrarch and located in the Ultramar Sub-sector. It is named after Konor, the adoptive father of Roboute Guilliman.

Mars long declined to classify Konor as a true forge world, because the system answered first to Macragge. Gantz is its moon, and Astaramis, Drenthal, Loebos, Nethamus and Vanitor share the charted well. In the eighth-edition Konor campaign, Death Guard forces and Imperial Primaris forces contested these same orbits. During the Plague Wars, the system was treated as a lock on northern Ultramar rather than as a rear-area manufacturing centre.

The Konor System remains significant because Guilliman’s restored Five Hundred Worlds require a forge that belongs to Ultramar rather than to Mars. Unofficial fan maps keep the Ultramar Sub-sector as its parent location and do not place it within a generic Ultima forge cluster.
