Medusa System

The Medusa System is the Ultima campaign well of the Fall of Medusa V, a mining-industrial cluster named as a courtesy to the Iron Hands and not their home. Medusa V was the hive Van Grothe's Rapidity finally swallowed; numbered sister worlds, a Sautekh tomb rock, and a gas giant share the same doomed chart.

This is not Sthenelus. Iron Hands Medusa is medusa-1117 in the Sthenelus System. Here the Imperium tried to evacuate, Chaos tried to weaponise the storm, and everyone else tried to loot a dying industrial cube. Lord Marshal Harazahn, Lucius, and Ignatius Grulgor are among the names on that campaign, not Ferrus Manus.

The Medusa System still matters as a 41st-millennium disaster pin. Unofficial fan summaries keep the Ultima parent and refuse to merge this well with the Iron Hands' waste world.
