Sarum System

The Sarum System is a Maelstrom-side hell-forge well in Ultima Segmentum, a barren gravity cluster whose Crimson Priests armed the World Eaters through the Heresy. Angron 'rescued' then occupied Redjak's empire in the Golgothan Slaughter.

Perturabo later found a bound Khorne daemon at its heart, and the first Obliterator walked out in stolen armour. This is the Dark Mechanicum pin, not a civilised shrine world that happens to share a name.

The Sarum System still matters as the forge that taught Traitor Legions how to grow guns in flesh. Unofficial fan summaries keep the Ultima parent and refuse to baptise the pin an Imperial forge.
