Lucien is a figure recorded in accounts of the Bequin period of the Eisenhorn continuity, linked to the underworld of the hive city Queen Mab.

Accounts of this period place Lucien within Queen Mab, a hive settlement on the world of Sancour, during the interval following the disappearance of Inquisitor Gregor Eisenhorn. He is described as a contact operating within the settlement’s underworld, drawn into the affairs of Alizebeth Bequin, an operative whose investigations continued threads of the earlier Eisenhorn inquiry into the pariah gene and related matters. His dealings are recorded as connecting him to agents pursuing unsanctioned lines of enquiry outside the formal structures of the Inquisition, consistent with the irregular character of operations conducted during the Bequin period.

Lucien’s standing derives from his function as an intermediary within Queen Mab’s underworld rather than from any formal rank or office; he is not recorded as holding a commission within the Inquisition or any allied body. Later tradition holds that such contacts were of practical importance to investigators operating outside sanctioned channels during this period, though the surviving record of his own activities remains limited. He is accordingly regarded as a minor but recurring presence within the wider account of the Bequin-era continuation of the Eisenhorn affair.
