Balthar System

The Balthar System is a Caligari system in the Tenebra Subsector that was isolated for centuries by a warpsurge and reclaimed through Inquisition missions.

During its isolation, civilisation declined across the system’s principal locations: Aphagia Minor, Balthar, Argon Prime, Marax and Balthar’s Eye. Their populations lapsed into depravity and heresy, while the wider Conclave was occupied with warp storms elsewhere in Segmentum Tempestus.

Reclamation fleets returned to a system in this condition after the Inquisition missions had forced the reconnection. The system hub is catalogued under the Tenebra Subsector, and the five named locations serve as the researched points of reference for the Balthar reclamation.
