City of Dust

The City of Dust was a pocket-dimension domain of the Yellow King and a twin of Queen Mab; it answered the gates of Sancour. Its streets were of ash, and its mirrors were false.

Beta Bequin, Ravenor, and Eisenhorn each entered the City of Dust. Meanwhile Comus and Renner Lightburn prevented the living hive from collapsing behind them. Each crossing consumed blanks, names, and luck.

The City of Dust is significant as Sancour’s anomaly twin rather than as a second Angelus hive. Unofficial catalogue notes accordingly record Sancour as its parent location and classify it as an anomaly.
