Dal’yth

Dal’yth is a First Sphere sept of the T’au Empire, consisting of hex-cities and Water Caste markets, and one of the empire’s showpiece colonies. The world was originally wild and covered in blue-leafed growth before it was tamed and settled.

The Damocles Crusade destroyed a number of Dal’yth’s cities. Trade later restored them, and the settlements were rebuilt on the strength of the commerce conducted in its markets.

Dal’yth remains a centre of interstellar exchange, and alien embassies continue to occupy the city of Gel’byrn in large numbers. It is also the birthplace of Commander Puretide.
