Thaddeus is the first Meridian native the Blood Ravens took in seven centuries, a hive ganger Davian Thule spotted holding a riot line in Hab Spire Legis. He made sergeant before his first service stud and earned the reputation of a brash assault marine who still thought the Chapter's promises applied to underhives.
Calderis and Typhon taught him feral Orks. Aurelia taught him Tyranids and the Black Legion. He asks questions Tarkus would rather not answer about Kronus.
He is not the quiet traitor in the usual reading. He is the reminder that Blood Ravens sometimes recruit hope on purpose, and then send it jumping out of a Thunderhawk.
