Avitus

Avitus is the Blood Ravens Devastator whose heavy bolter is the polite part of the weapon. He grew up on Typhon Primaris under a Guard regiment that starved his settlement for sport, then watched two squad brothers die cracking Victory Bay on Kronus. After that, every Guardsman was a traitor waiting for a form.

He held the line through both Aurelian Crusades under Thule and Aramus. Hatred did the ranging for him, and the rest of the squad learned to stand a little wide of the muzzle.

Chaos Rising lets several sergeants be the leak. Retribution's Tarkus talks about a Kronus friend he had to kill. The Chapter does not put Avitus back on recruiting posters.
