Sly Marbo is a Catachan Jungle Fighter so decorated that the Munitorum has stopped pretending he is a normal one-man reconnaissance asset. Catachan trains survivors. Marbo is what happens when the jungle starts training back.
He appears in warzones, removes a problem the size of a company, and vanishes before the paperwork can catch him. Other Guardsmen tell Marbo stories the way other cultures tell saints' lives, except the miracles involve knives and a very personal grudge against anything that is not Catachan.
Whether he is still alive is, on Catachan, a stupid question. The jungle has not clocked him out.
