Petropolis was the principal hive of Eustis Majoris, where Ravenor pursued flects and Slyte eventually forced Carl Thonius into the open.

Administratum towers, underhive markets and void docks in Petropolis all handled the same cargo: warp-tainted glass and Cognitae language-work. Zael Efferneti, a boy psyker (an individual with psychic ability), and Carl Thonius, whose habit forms part of the record, were both drawn into this setting. The hive’s circumstances continued until they no longer admitted of a peaceful conclusion.
