Zael Efferneti was Ravenor’s boy-psyker on Eustis Majoris, a street recruit whose sight brushed Slyte while Carl Thonius wore the daemon.
He rode the Petropolis flect case inside Ravenor’s warband and saw patterns adult agents preferred to call coincidence. When Thonius’s possession broke into the open, Zael’s gift sat too close to the manifestation for anyone’s comfort.
Ravenor kept him anyway until larger Ordos interests claimed the boy’s future. Eustis and Petropolis still mark where a child psyker learned what a named daemon smells like.
