Slyte was the daemon that wore Carl Thonius and climaxed the Eustis Majoris flect case inside Petropolis.

It rode Ravenor’s interrogator as a passenger until possession stopped being subtle and the hive learned a True Name the hard way. Zael Efferneti’s sight brushed the entity early; Gideon Ravenor spent the rest of the hunt paying for how long the warband denied the pattern.

Petropolis still marks the manifestation. Thonius’s body was the door; Slyte was what walked through it.
