Queen Mab

Queen Mab was Sancour’s southern hive, the Maze Undue’s street-grid and the mirror door into the City of Dust.

Beta Bequin grew up in its stacked wards while Cognitae tutors filed blanks through the academy and Lilean Chase’s language work haunted the underlevels. Gates, false names, and City of Dust echoes made every alley a recruitment pitch.

Queen Mab still matters as the Bequin hive pin under Sancour. Unofficial notes keep the sancour parent and refuse to promote the hive into its own system.
