Sagan System

The Sagan System is a tithe well in the Sagan Sub-sector of the Karthago Sector and served as the logistical gateway of the Badab War. It is not the home of a Space Marine Chapter. Its charted well comprises Sagan I to VII and Luminal, and Sagan III is an Administratum world. The system is distinct from the Sagan location in the Melchior system.

Both sides in the Badab War treated Sagan III as the principal prize. The Astral Claws used virus weapons in an attempt to deny the system to the loyalists, and these weapons killed tens of thousands. Once the loyalists had taken the system, it became the Imperium’s main point of access to the Maelstrom Zone.

The Sagan System remains notable as the principal supply base of the Badab War. Unofficial fan summaries place it under the Sagan Sub-sector and keep its numbered worlds distinct from Badab Primaris.
