Tarsis Ultra

Tarsis Ultra was an agri-world named for Guilliman, reduced to a scoured rock in 999.M41 after a Tyranid assault and the release of the Heraclitus virus. The world took its name from Guilliman after he saved a local soldier there during the Great Crusade.

In 999.M41, Uriel Ventris, the Mortifactors and Inquisitor Kryptman defeated a tendril (a branch of a Tyranid hive fleet) of Hive Fleet Leviathan on the planet. Honsou, an Iron Warrior, then fired a stolen Heraclitus virus into the Tyranid flora that remained on the surface. The growth consumed the atmosphere.

The defeat of the tendril was therefore nullified by Honsou’s action. Tarsis Ultra ended as a scoured rock, and Guilliman’s name remained attached to a world that no longer sustained agriculture.
