Thracian Primaris

Thracian Primaris is a Helican hive world that became sub-sector capital in 241.M41 after authority passed from Gudrun.

Its surface is extensively paved industrial crust; residual oceans are described as lying beneath ferrocrete. As capital it hosted Lord Helican’s Triumph along the Avenue of the Victor Bellum, during which Chaos-tainted pilots attacked the parade in the event later called the Thracian Atrocity, permanently injuring Gideon Ravenor. Ordo offices associated with Lord Rorken and later proceedings involving Eisenhorn also used the hive as an institutional centre.

After the fall of Cadia, accounts place House Krast Knights among forces defending the world against Death Guard and Chaos Knights. Thracian Primaris should not be confused with Gudrun, which retained planetary status but not the capital function.
