Thramas Sector

The Thramas Sector is a region of the Ultima Segmentum, in the Eastern Fringe, where the Thramas Crusade was fought. Aegis Subsector contains the Thramas System. Sheol, Serk and a belt of agricultural and forge bodies also lie within the sector.

Horus dispatched the Night Lords to the Eastern Fringe to terrorise the region, so that the Lion could not send reinforcements to Terra. Curze and the Lion contended for the sector, while Sevatar attempted to hold a Legion together.

The sector is remembered chiefly as the Horus Heresy theatre of an agricultural “breadbasket” war, not as a shield-station designation of the fortieth millennium. Unofficial summaries place it within the Ultima Segmentum and list the Thramas System under Aegis Subsector.
