Melusine

Melusine is the first major vat-born daughter of Fabius Bile, an experiment that alarmed Fulgrim and was taken by him into the Warp. Canticle City was the place of her creation.

After her removal, Melusine was held in the Palace, where she was made to dance under the threat that stopping would result in her being devoured. Fulgrim intervened to save her on one occasion. Slaanesh retained her thereafter.

Melusine appears to Bile in his dreams and in places that would not ordinarily accommodate daemons. She bears the title “Beloved of the Prince and the Phoenician”. At Belial IV she fused with Igori, who was dying, and drew daemons in to keep her father alive, leaving one complete being where two damaged ones had been. Bile’s work continues, but she does not respond when summoned.
