Igori

Igori is the foremost of Fabius Bile’s gland-hounds, a New Woman made from diluted gene-seed and bearing a necklace of Astartes teeth. She was not the first of her kind to be produced. She was the one who survived long enough to lead the pack, kill Oritz in a challenge, and teach her grandchildren to hunt.

She travelled through Lugganath, the Vesalius and a Hrud migration, and took a skull as a trophy. Age eventually bent her marble body, but she continued to put down coups on behalf of Bile, whom she called the Benefactor. She then exiled herself to Belial IV rather than fade in a corridor.

Dark Eldar steel ended the life of the mortal Igori. Melusine offered her a merger in place of a grave. The figure styled the Hound-Queen did not remain dead, nor did she remain only human.
