House Glaw Saruthi excavation
The House Glaw Saruthi excavation was an operation on Damask in which House Glaw enslaved Helican settlers to dig eight-sided tiles for a Necroteuch trade. The settlers were colonists of the Helican region who had been established on the world. By 237.M41 Cardinal Dazzo’s Messina mission had driven more than nine thousand colonists into the North Qualm dig. Gillan’s Acre and the other known colonies fell silent, overgrown with mutant scrub. From orbit, the world answered neither vox (voice) transmissions nor astropathic (psychic) messages. Eisenhorn’s ground team located the tiles and identified, among the cabal responsible, a Traitor Astartes (a Space Marine who has turned against the Imperium) of the Emperor’s Children. The evidence recovered on Damask provided the trail that led to KCX-1288, and the excavation stands as the link between the two investigations.
