Malcador’s Warp sanctuary
Malcador’s Warp sanctuary was the removal of Titan, Saturn’s largest moon, into the Warp by Malcador the Sigillite during the Horus Heresy. Titan is the concealed fortress-world of the Grey Knights and the site of the Citadel of Titan. Malcador moved the moon out of realspace, the material universe, and into the Warp. Titan’s surface is marked by cryovolcanoes, which vent ammonia into a thick orange sky. When the moon returned to realspace, a full Chapter had already been raised within the Citadel. Nathaniel Garro is recorded among the early members from whom the Grey Knights developed. Titan’s batteries rank behind those of Terra, Mars and Cadia in the Imperium’s defensive order. The Citadel also forms part of the inner defensive sequence of the Sol system, in which it stands behind Terra.
