Titan

Titan, Saturn’s largest moon, is the concealed fortress-world of the Grey Knights and the site of the Citadel of Titan. Its surface is marked by cryovolcanoes, which vent ammonia into a thick orange sky.

During the Horus Heresy, Malcador the Sigillite moved the moon into the Warp. When Titan returned to realspace, a full Chapter had already been raised within the Citadel. Nathaniel Garro is recorded among the early members from whom the Grey Knights developed.

Titan’s batteries rank behind those of Terra, Mars and Cadia in the Imperium’s defensive order. The Citadel also forms part of the inner defensive sequence of the Sol system, in which it stands behind Terra.
