Grand Master Voldus

Aldrik Voldus is the Grand Master of the Grey Knights’ 3rd Brotherhood, exercising practical command over much of the daemon-hunting Chapter. Titan raised Voldus, and Draigo entrusted him with much of the Chapter’s practical command. Terra has likewise deployed him in its service.

Voldus assisted in returning Guilliman to active warfare before resuming duties that receive no public acclaim. He is an exceptionally powerful psyker—an individual endowed with psychic capabilities—even by the standards of the Grey Knights, a distinction treated as a warning rather than a compliment. On Gathalamor, he fought alongside the Custodes, whereas in other theatres he left only the aftermath visible, conforming to the bureaucratic secrecy favoured by the 666th Chapter.

Voldus rejects the mythos left behind by Draigo. He focuses instead on practical containment, seeking to ensure that each successive daemonic incursion is smaller than the last.
