Demerium

Demerium is a cemetery moon of Avarax, an Imperial mausoleum world in the Recidious System, featured in the video game Space Marine 2. The game uses the moon as a setting in which Chaos and Necron forces occupy the levels beneath a surface crust of shrines. The Imperial lex charts describe Demerium as Avarax’s moon, but this catalogue lists it as a planet.

Thousand Sons cadres, working with the Aurora device, converted the moon’s cathedrums into laboratories. Before Demetrian Titus arrived, Adeptus Mechanicus teams had excavated through pre-Imperial stone into Necron tomb architecture.

Demerium is the Recidious crypt in which the sequel’s final acts take place. This catalogue keeps the Recidious System as its parent and records its kind as planet. It does not identify Demerium with Kadaku, a jungle world, or with Tartarus of Dawn of War, and it does not treat it as an unspecified graveyard site in Segmentum Tempestus.
