Chairon

Meduras Chairon was a Primaris of the Ultramarines Second, a Calth-haunted killer who fought under Titus in the Recidious System and then died on Trygg buying a hive world time. He is the squad-brother who said the quiet parts about vengeance where Gadriel said duty.

Kadaku and Demerium were the campaign that made him Titus's. Trygg was the one that ended him. Acheran took a strike force to a silent Munitorum scream, found a Genestealer Cult, sealed the hive, and ran out of brothers. Chairon was among them.

Macragge will remember the Recidious laurels longer than the cult on Trygg. Chairon would have called that typical. He still died doing the Calth lesson: hold the door until the rest of Ultramar can walk through it.
