Sevastus Acheran was Captain of the Ultramarines Second, the first Primaris to hold the company after Cato Sicarius vanished into the Great Rift. He took the job on Terra's doorstep, kept it when Sicarius walked back during the Plague Wars, and spent Indomitus proving a replacement could be a captain rather than a bookmark.
He fought on Nemendghast, in Ultramar, and in the Recidious System, where he put Demetrian Titus back in as a lieutenant and watched him with the suspicion the Inquisition had taught the Chapter. After Demerium he offered laurels. After Trygg there was no one left to offer them to.
A Genestealer Cult ate the strike force on that hive world. Acheran sealed the capital and died in it, Chairon with him. Titus took the company. The Second still fights as if Acheran had issued the last order himself.
