The Blood Angels are noble warriors cursed with the Red Thirst and the Black Rage, descended from the IX Legion and Primarch Sanguinius. Despite their genetic flaws, they are among the most disciplined and artistic of Space Marines. Based on the rad-scarred world of Baal, they have produced numerous successor Chapters who share their curse.
