The Yncarne is the Avatar of Ynnead, a death-god walking, born from the shattered infinity circuit of Biel-Tan when Yvraine's awakening gave the Whispering God a body. It is not a person in the way a Farseer is a person. It is a proof.
It fights for the Ynnari, stepping through the slain to arrive where the dying are thickest, and every soul it claims is an argument that Slaanesh does not get the last word. Craftworlds split over whether that argument is salvation or another kind of hunger.
Ynnead is not awake enough. The Yncarne is what awake enough looks like when it still has to borrow corpses to travel.
