Traevelliath Sliscus is a Drukhari archon-corsair of the Sliscus line, a name in Commorragh long associated with piracy, forbidden trade, and venomcraft.

The Sliscus tradition is remembered chiefly through Duke Sliscus, called the Serpent, whose smuggling fleets and webway contacts made him indispensable to rival kabals, including the Kabal of the Black Heart under Asdrubael Vect. Traevelliath Sliscus is recorded within this same lineage of merchant-corsairs, operating raiding craft that range beyond Commorragh’s webway portals to prey on Imperial and xenos shipping alike, trading in slaves, weapons, and the poisons for which the line is known. Accounts differ on the precise kinship or rivalry between the figures who bear the Sliscus name, an obscurity that suits Commorragh’s culture of secrecy and shifting allegiance.

Standing among Commorragh’s corsair-archons rests on cunning and utility rather than raw military strength: contemporaries and clients include the great kabals that depend on Sliscan trade routes and toxins, foremost among them the Black Heart. Traevelliath Sliscus’s presence is bound to Commorragh, the Dark City, as the hub from which the Sliscus fleets stage their raids and return to trade; the figure’s current standing amid the city’s endless intrigue remains, as with much of Drukhari affairs, a matter of rumour rather than settled record.
