Duke Traevelliath Sliscus, the Serpent, has commanded the Sky Serpents Corsairs for millennia on the theory that the stars were always his. Lady Malys called him amoral, despicable, and impeccably dressed. He once butchered a hive's nobility because an envoy mispronounced the name.
He never wears the same clothes twice. Each outfit includes a piece of the last person who bored him. He dines on poisoned food to keep the immune system interesting and carves epics into whatever is left. Commorragh still thinks he is good company, which is the Dark City's idea of a review.
