Olympia

Olympia was Perturabo’s mountainous home world, a planet of city-states and fortresses that the Imperium now lists as perdita. Its surface was devastated twice: first in a purge ordered by Perturabo himself, and later in the closing stage of a siege.

The purge followed a revolt on the planet that the Word Bearers, the Legion of Lorgar, had encouraged. Perturabo razed Olympia in response. The Iron Warriors, with Forrix among their commanders, then held the world for two years against the Imperial Fists under Rogal Dorn and the Ultramarines under Roboute Guilliman. The garrison ended the siege by firing its own stocks of missiles, which scoured the planet into a wasteland.

The Imperium has classified Olympia as perdita since these events. The world is recorded chiefly as the home of Perturabo and as the site of a prolonged Iron Warriors defence against two other Legions.
