Kristos

Kristos was an Iron Hands Iron Father who took command of Clan Raukaan after the Skarvus Ambush and became the Chapter’s adversary in the Gaudinian Heresy. He secured victories at Dawnbreak and Columnus by treating allied forces as expendable mass.

Raven Guard troops were lost as a result of these calculations. Kristos described his method as logic. The Iron Council convened an inquiry that lasted two centuries and divided the Chapter into the Kristosians and those who retained doubts. The Gaudinian Heresy then exposed the consequences of his reasoning, and Chaos was found to have been present in that logic throughout. Kristos passed from the rank of Iron Father to that of a threat the Chapter had to remove from within its own ranks.

On Medusa, the Iron Hands still debate whether the weakness lay in the flesh or in the certainty Kristos displayed. He remains a figure the Chapter is reluctant to present publicly.
