Also known as Prophet of the Eighth Legion
Decimus is the Night Lords' prophet after Talos Valcoran, a young legionary grown from the Soul Hunter's gene-seed and, if Talos's warning held, from the child of Septimus and Octavia. Variel the Flayer did the surgery. The Eighth did the rest.
He wears the warband like an inheritance: Aurum, Malcharion's twin bolter, a broken aquila, a flayed cloak, a helm stitched from First Claw's vanities. The foresight came with the organs. Before the Thirteenth Black Crusade he told a room of lords that Abaddon would win and that several of them would not live to watch it.
Tsagualsa is the grave that made him. He is not Talos. He is what Talos spent a trilogy trying not to admit the Legion still needed: a voice that sees the murder coming and names it.
