Zso Sahaal

Zso Sahaal, the Talonmaster, was a Terran Kyroptera captain who became First Captain after Sevatar was written off. Curze's chosen, in his own accounting, for the Corona Nox. Half the First Company never accepted the promotion. He spent the rest of his legend trying to collect a crown an assassin had already stolen.

He chased M'Shen, lost the First Company in the doing, and earned the name Betrayer from brothers who stayed to fight Eldar. A warp storm boxed him in sus-an sleep for ten millennia. He woke in a crash on Equixus, rebuilt a hive-cult, and dueled Krieg Acerbus for the same metal wreath.

He escaped with a ruined arm and a relic nobody else agreed was a sceptre. By the Thirteenth Black Crusade he had vanished again. The Night Lords have many heirs. That is the joke Curze left them.
