Junith Eruita is Canoness of the Order of Our Martyred Lady who goes to war in the Pulpit of Saint Holline's Basilica, a floating shrine that turns a sermon into an armoured advance. She does not walk into the fire. She arrives on it.

The Order needed a commander who could replace martyrdom-as-accident with martyrdom-as-doctrine after Cadia and the Rift. Eruita's answer is to preach over the guns until the guns agree. Other Canonesses lead squads. She leads a cathedral that moves.
