Ballack

Ballack was the interrogator and operator who stepped into Ravenor’s warband after Carl Thonius’s fall.

He took Eustis Majoris and Gudrun work when the chair needed a new human edge and the old interrogator’s name had become a warning. Ravenor’s agents did not replace Thonius lightly; Ballack inherited the paperwork, the risk, and the expectation that he would not open another door to Slyte.

The Helican/Scarus chart lists him as the later operator, not the origin story. That is the point of the posting.
