Orfeo Culzean was the Cognitae-adjacent contractor who ran a warband against Ravenor across Gudrun, Eustis Majoris, and Bonner’s Reach.

He sold sorcerous logistics to Zygmunt Molotch and treated Mabbon Etogaur’s Blood Pact expertise as another hired edge. Ravenor’s agents spent whole books learning that Culzean’s contracts were the fight, not a side deal.

The Fratery knot and the Molotch hunt made him a named antagonist rather than a faceless Cognitae clerk. He died as contractors do when inquisitors stop negotiating.
