Stenius

Stenius was a Terran Dark Angel, Castellan of the Invincible Reason, an Ironwing officer who took the Lion's flagship through Diamat and Davin and later helped raze Chemos and Barbarus when the traitors' homes came due. He was a shipmaster with a Legion's grudge for a compass.

Diamat was a forge-war. Davin was a wound. The razings were policy. Stenius kept the Reason honest through all three, a Castellan who treated a Gloriana as both palace and spear and did not ask the Lion which mood the bridge was in.

He does not get a death-mark in the Heresy tallies. Terran Dark Angels often vanish into the later Inner Circle's filing system. The Invincible Reason outlived the certainty of who still stood on its bridge, which is a Castellan's odd kind of success.
