Vashtorr the Arkifane is a daemon king of the Forge of Souls, a demi-god of inventors who want the weapon more than the consequence. He does not lie about the contract. That is what makes him dangerous. The Four tolerate him because they need his engines.

He wants to become a fifth Chaos God. The Arks of Omen were his bargain with Abaddon, the Rock was a raid that Be'lakor spoiled, and the ruins of Caliban became Wyrmwood when he decided the Key still had a lock to find. Cawl is a fascination he has not finished having.
