Sergeant Naaman
Scout Sergeant of the 10th Company
Also known as Naaman
Sergeant Naaman was a Dark Angels Scout sergeant of the 10th Company who died on Piscina IV while covering the extraction of his team. He was the twenty-seventh Dark Angel to bear the name Naaman. His death came during operations against the Orks’ teleporta, a teleportation device, on Piscina IV.
Cut off on Koth Ridge, Naaman was the only survivor of his first squad. He then led a second team of Scouts back through Ork-held ground to mark a position for a Deathwing strike. The beacon he placed allowed Belial’s Terminators to arrive, but energy scatter prevented the Scouts’ own extraction. Naaman remained behind, covered their withdrawal, and destroyed an Ork Dreadnought with a melta-bomb, an act that cost him his life.
Earlier, on Pandorax, Naaman had listened at a hive while a daemon spoke. The Chapter nonetheless reads the action on Piscina IV as the principal account of his service.
