Sammael

Sammael is Grand Master of the Ravenwing, the 348th to hold the black of the Dark Angels' Second Company and still the youngest ever inducted into it. He rides the last known Imperial jetbike and treats the hunt for the Fallen as a cavalry problem the rest of the Chapter is not cleared to name.

Gideon died under a Reaver Titan on Kapua and named him successor on the way down. Sammael finished the Titan, then took the company through Rastabal, the Fourth Quadrant Rebellion, and the skies over Rynn's World, once flying the jetbike out of a dying Thunderhawk because walking away was slower.

The Rock keeps his bike in a vault of relics. Caliban is a memory with a hole in it. Sammael does not slow down long enough to mourn either. The Fallen still run. The Ravenwing still exists to catch them.
