Cypher

Cypher is the Fallen Angel the Dark Angels cannot close a file on: a hooded swordsman with a pistol he never draws, walking the Imperium for ten thousand years on an errand only he could explain. Caliban's civil war made the Fallen. Cypher made them a pilgrimage.

He has been captured, lost, and found again, has stood in the same warzones as Luther's sons and the Lion's, and once got as far as Terra with a purpose that still reads as both loyalty and heresy. The Lion is awake. That should have ended the mystery. It has not.

The Unforgiven hunt him. He lets them, sometimes. The pistol stays holstered. That is the part nobody likes.
