Boss Zagstruk

Boss Zagstruk is the Ork commander of the Vulcha Squad, a Goff Stormboy unit, and the holder of Planet Zag, formerly the shrine world St Rezmond’s Hope. Stormboyz are Ork infantry equipped with jump packs, which allow them to enter combat by aerial descent. Zagstruk has bionik feet, the Orks’ term for prosthetic replacements.

After the Rift, Zagstruk seized St Rezmond’s Hope and renamed it Planet Zag. He also had his own likeness carved into a holy mountain on the world. When the Order of the Ebon Chalice arrived to retake the planet, he allowed its Sisters to train his yoofs, as Orks call their young. He then descended on Canoness Sarida and ended the raid within an hour. The Abbess responded by dispatching the Officio Assassinorum, the Imperial agency of assassins. Zagstruk regarded this as a further form of Stormboy drill.

Zagstruk holds a former shrine world against an Imperial attempt at recovery and has drawn the attention of the Officio Assassinorum. His conduct reflects the doctrine of his unit: arrival by vertical descent, made without regard for whoever occupies the landing zone.
