Hasik Noyan-Khan

Hasik Noyan-Khan was lord of the White Scars’ Horde of the Stone, killed by Jaghatai Khan for his part in a warrior-lodge coup during the Horus Heresy. He was an original Chogorian from the years of the Khagan’s conquest. He held that the warrior lodges understood the Legion’s future better than its primarch did. He was a brother of the Legion before he became a traitor to it, and the coup made that distinction of little practical consequence.

When the lodge plot was set in motion, Hasik drew his weapon against Jaghatai and was defeated. Jaghatai impaled him for the attempted seizure of the Legion. The wound proved fatal, and Hasik was dead by the fourth year of the Heresy. He had staked the Legion’s unity on the plot and paid for the failure with his life.

The name of his horde remained on the Chogorian rolls, but Hasik’s did not. Jaghatai did not pardon the attempt to seize the Legion’s brotherhood on the ground that Hasik had once served at his side. The Horde of the Stone learned the consequence of that attempt from a single act.
