Fyodor Karamazov
Inquisitor Lord, Pyrophant Judge of Salem Proctor
Also known as Pyrophant Judge of Salem Proctor, Lord Karamazov
Fyodor Karamazov is an Amalathian Inquisitor Lord of the Inquisition’s Ordo Hereticus and Pyrophant Judge of Salem Proctor. He travels on a Throne of Judgement, a wheeled relic. He has said that a plea of innocence is itself guilty of wasting his time.
Karamazov burned the preacher Icarael before the Ecclesiarchy had issued any response to the case. Some of Icarael’s followers were subsequently shown to be tainted by Chaos, which bore out his judgement. The Ministorum has not come to regard him more favourably, but the outcome has made his retirement impracticable.
The Throne of Judgement serves as both a relic and an instrument of intimidation, and Karamazov combines the two. In the period of the Dark Imperium he continues to purge sub-sectors whose authorities treated the crisis as grounds for laxity.
