Arkhan Land

Arkhan Land was a Mechanicum technoarchaeologist who recovered Standard Template Construct fragments from the Librarius Omnis. The Raider, Speeder and Crawler vehicle patterns, together with grav-plate technology that had otherwise been forgotten, derive from these fragments and remain in Imperial use. All three vehicles bear his name.

During the Horus Heresy, Land accompanied the Archimandrite into the Webway, where he encountered daemons. He found the experience deeply distressing, having regarded knowledge as free of such hazards. Kane nevertheless required the forbidden knowledge Land had drawn from the vaults. Land’s grav-Raider and the psyber-monkey Sapien travelled with him.

Land later disappeared into the Librarius Omnis, and Mars lists him as missing. His vehicles remain in service, while his own fate is recorded only by that listing.
