Tormageddon

Tormageddon is a daemon created by Erebus from the stolen gene-seed of Tarik Torgaddon and housed in the body of the Sons of Horus warrior Grael Noctua. Gene-seed is the genetic material from which a Space Marine Legion propagates. Torgaddon had been a member of the Mournival, the inner circle of advisers to the Warmaster Horus.

The daemon appeared in Lupercal’s Court, where it stood against the Knights-Errant, and later on Terra. Its most notable act was the killing of Iacton Qruze, known as the Half-heard, who had once escaped the *Vengeful Spirit*. The killing was deliberate: the Legion used Torgaddon’s stolen gene-seed to reach a man who had previously evaded it. Noctua’s body served only as a vessel, and the entity within did not retain his manner.

Torgaddon died attempting to preserve Horus’s humanity, and Lupercal’s Court afterwards turned his gene-seed into a weapon against former comrades. Tormageddon remains bound to the Warp, the realm from which daemons originate, and owes no allegiance to Torgaddon.
