Zeist Campaign
The Zeist Campaign was a protracted offensive of the T’au Empire’s Third Sphere Expansion. Waged deep within space the Imperium regarded as long-settled, the campaign is remembered as one of the longest and costliest actions of the T’au advance, and it later served as an instructive case of the Mont’ka doctrine — the T’au military philosophy of a swift, concentrated killing blow against a fixed target. T’au forces, directed in the field by Commander Shas’o Vior’la Shovah Kais Mont’yr, known to the Imperium as Shadowsun, pressed the assault against entrenched Astra Militarum garrisons, void stations, and planetary defences across the system.
