Sylandri Veilwalker
Shadowseer
Also known as Veilwalker
Sylandri Veilwalker is Shadowseer of the Masque of the Veiled Path, a title that several Harlequins have held. Fabius Bile has expressed doubt that the name refers to only one individual.
Veilwalker first appears in connection with Maudlin III, where she directed T’au forces into a costly war of attrition in order to save another world. She guided Taec Silvereye to his death at Dûriel and afterwards borrowed Prince Yriel. During the Thirteenth Black Crusade she directed Belisarius Cawl to Eriad VI and assisted Eldrad in bringing the survivors of Cadia into the Webway. She later appeared alongside Cypher to free Roboute Guilliman from captivity by the forces of Chaos. On Luna she closed the gate after Magnus was forced back, then departed before she could be entered on any roster.
The Harlequins, the followers of Cegorach, do not customarily explain their purposes. Veilwalker’s involvement recurs in Imperial after-action reports, which record her actions without establishing her position in any formation.
